Previously, Vidaurreta’s diversified ventures have ranged from real estate development to natural gas exploration. He has held significant ownership levels in Adjoined Consulting, P&O Packaging and Horizon Bank. Previously, Lurie was senior vice president and CIO of Teleflex, a manufacturer of medical devices used in critical care and surgery procedures. Before Teleflex, Lurie served as vice president, information technology, at Stryker Orthopaedics, which designs, develops, manufactures and sells reconstructive, trauma and sports-medicine orthopedic products, He was a founding member of Stryker’s Business Technology Council, a cross-divisional Stryker entity. Lurie was CIO for Penn Engineering and Manufacturing, managing an international IT staff in corporate, field and consultant positions before Stryker. Lurie has received many accolades including the CIO Leadership Networks 2008 Top 10 Leaders & Innovators Award and Premier 100—Computerworld magazine 2009.
