The mission of our company is and always has been to provide the best quality and value of home construction to our clients and take care of each other as we should, in over 17 years of residential construction, we feel confident that we are achieving that goal each day.

Tell us about yourself?

As the owner of Advanced Builders & Contractors, I started wanting to build better for Los Angeles. Prior to construction I was in real estate. I love homes, I love everything about real estate and building, and I wanted to create homes people would be proud of owning.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

I would believe in myself more, and have more trust and believe in God.

What problem does your business solve?

We solve any problems we are faced with day in and day out. Whether it is a family who needs more space, not enjoying their home as much as they should, and achieving their goals of home ownership and personalization that creates a real pride in owning a home.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

The inspiration behind my business is my family. Whenever I build a new home, I think of the family like my own. I was fortunate enough to remodel a home for my own family, and seeing their eyes light up at the end (and going through the process ourselves) was motivational to say the least. I hope that every home I build enriches the lives of those who dwell within.

What is your magic sauce?

I only take on select projects for select people. I don’t have a sales team churning business in and out, I take the time and give all of my attention to only a couple projects at a time. So when my client calls me after hours, I know what is going on. I know my workers personally, and the families and investors I work with. It’s a very personal business model.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

I hope to become more specialized in my projects. When I started taking on hillside construction homes, it was a real challenge, and it was exciting. I love working on every home, but it’s good to push yourself into new territory. I plan on focusing more on unique, designer homes that are eye catching and unique.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

We had a home in Hollywood Hills where there was a live atrium designed into the middle of the home. A living, centurion olive tree was to be placed in the center. This was a unique design, and one that needed adjusting, as we had to compensate for the tree’s specific needs and the home’s. The result was stunning, absolutely stunning.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

Home owners and investors who are looking to build unique, custom homes are always welcome. We also love working with new designers, architects and engineers who are pushing limits and looking for a General Contractor to build a solid relationship with to best serve our clients.
