Tabetha Sheaver: Plus Delta Helps Entrepreneurial Teams Break Through the Ceiling When They Feel Stuck

April 15, 2022

Plus Delta operates on four core values. These include integrity-do what we say we are going to do, Be The Buffalo-running head-on into problems and fixing them, teamwork-aligning everyone in the organization to help the client achieve their goals, and kindness throughout all client endeavors.

 Tell us about yourself?

The firm is led by Tabetha Sheaver, an award winning consultant and highly skilled professional in change management. Sheaver is a Fractional COO, Certified Project Management Professional (PMI), Certified Change Management Professional and Certified Mediator.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Don’t tie your identity to your work and NOTHING will change you, grow you, and challenge you more than owning your own business. Be careful what you ask for because with EOS you will get it if you are willing to take yourself on.

What problem does your business solve?

Helping entrepreneurial teams break through the ceiling when they feel stuck- like they can’t scale or take it to the next level. We help get clarity of vision, implement accountability structures, and ensure you have a healthy cohesive leadership team.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

Early in my career, I was an employee that did a bunch of work to setup systems that were working well for our department. Corporate came in and implemented a new system and required us to use it. It didn’t actually meet our needs.

I got really upset we weren’t consulted. I ultimately ended up leaving the organization and starting a company to help manage change. That led to realizing a lot of time employees aren’t happy because leadership keeps changing the priorities and initiatives.

As a small business owner I realized first hand the challenges of running a company and leading people- I found a book called Traction by Gino Wickman that gave me a proven process to follow. I implemented and got great results. I started implementing EOS for a few clients and they got great results.

What is your magic sauce?

  1. EOS- it is a proven model with amazing results
  2. Experience being a CEO and business owner. I understand both sides, employee and employer. Also having been a consultant, I’ve seen many different companies and help connect best practices across industries.
  3. Deep passion and knowledge in business psychology and behavior change combined with IT and project management experience.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

In 5 years Plus Delta will have changed the lives of over 100 business owners and their employees for the better. Plus Delta stands for positive change and that is what we intend to do in St. Louis.

Every company we serve will achieve clarity of vision, traction and accountability and be enjoying what they do with the people they work with.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Figuring out where to invest money in marketing. There are so many options and no way to know what will work until you try it out. The amount of money that is spent on marketing initiatives is amazing to me.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

It starts with assessing your company and seeing how strong you are in each of the 6 key components. Anyone can take the assessment for free by going to: https://organizationalcheckup.com/get-started/[email protected]
