Tre-Quan Baker: Since 2016, we’ve worked closely with artists to provide the necessary tools needed to build a fan base that funds their careers

Since 2016, we’ve worked closely with artists to provide the necessary tools needed to build a fan base that funds their careers.

Our goal is to push the bounds of success independent artists can achieve with our concept-proven services.

Whether artists are working to establish themselves independently, or are working to build a platform worthy of a record deal; we are confident in our ability to add exponential value to the artists we work with.

Tell us about yourself?

I began as a music producer when I was about 14, I was introduced to the skill at the local Boys & Girls club. After I graduated High School I started a music production company, selling instrumentals to artists across the US.

Not long after I realized that many of the artists I sold beats to didn’t know how to promote themselves to maximize their results, so I began to look into it.

I studied at a community collage for about 2 years in pursuit of a business degree, but eventually dropped out (holding on to my books). Several years of studying with trial and error resulted in the birth of AsheQ Music.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

If you really believe you can succeed within your desired occupation, spare no expense preparing yourself for the journey. Live it, breathe it, be it!

What problem does your business solve?

Lack of exposure, engagement, and income for musicians.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

We initially wanted to prove that musicians could make money without a record deal or solely from streaming platforms. Since we have proven that concept we now want to give every artist we can a taste of that success.

What is your magic sauce?

We don’t bind our clients legally, giving them the freedom to reap the benefits of our service while remaining in control of their journey.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

We plan to open an establishment dedicated to music and video production, coupled with our marketing services making AsheQ Music a 1-stop shop for musicians.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Many of our clients are very skeptical about our services, as the majority have been scammed.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

We want to work with all musicians of all genres. Feel free to visit www.asheqmusic.net to learn more.
